Of course, I'm kidding. And apologies to W. Shakespeare for paraphrasing his quote. This should, however, give you a basic idea of the tone of this blog. While food and eating is a serious life component there's no reason we can't have some fun with it.
I'm Tony Young, the new trainer at CFNA. I'm a serious student of diet related stuff and your guide thru the wonderful world of seriously good eating. I'm also just days away from being Robb Wolf Nutrition certified. I met Robb at my Level 1 Cert in '04 and he's been one of my mentors ever since, even when he's not been aware of it. I can hardly wait to get another concentrated dose of what he knows.
As the purpose statement above says, this is an incredibly interactive place. Questions, answers, confusion, revelation can - in fact, should - go in here. If it's about food and eating, health and performance, swing away.
In the first few posts I'll cover our relationship with food, basic food science (relax, it's easy), an overview of the couple of most popular eating schemes for CF'ers and lay some other groundwork. There will soon (right T Rex?) be a survey list of topics that I'll use to help me learn what you want to hear more about. In the mean time, anything you're interested in, drop me a note and I'll add it to the list. I'll also populate the lists of resources in the sidebars to give you ready access to all the cool stuff out there.
This blog is for you, make use of it. If I don't have an answer (yeah, right!) I'll either make up something entertaining or send you to the right place to get it.
